Terms
Use URLZ responsibly.
By using URLZ, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
URLZ is a free service for shortening links, creating QR codes, and, when you want it, managing those links. We do not try to police ordinary use. The boundary is that what you publish through a redirect, a QR code, or another URLZ tool must not harm, harass, attack, shame, or be used for racist or illegal conduct.
What is not allowed
Do not use URLZ for phishing, viruses, malware, or any link or file that can steal from, expose, or harm the people who open it. Do not use the service for denial-of-service attacks, harassment, child sexual abuse material, revenge pornography, or any non-consensual intimate image.
You must also follow the laws of Canada, the United States, and the country where you are located. Conduct that is lawful in one place does not permit you to break a law that applies to you or to the people you are targeting.
If a link causes harm
If such a link is found on an account, or on a link created without an account, we may delete it. Further steps may follow to stop the behaviour from continuing. Depending on how serious it is and whether it is repeated, that can include restricting an account, an IP range, or other access to the service, and reporting the matter to authorities when a serious case requires it.
Availability
We use partner servers around the world and aim for high availability. An outage can still happen, for minutes, hours, or days. The service is free and is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or a particular result. Use it with that in mind.
Report a problem
If a URLZ link sent you to a fraud, or a QR code or redirect was used to hurt someone or break the law, contact us. Open the Contact & Support page, fill in the form, and we will review it and take an appropriate step.
